La. 1st Cir. response to COVID-19

Last Friday, the Louisiana First Circuit posted three announcements on its web site responding to the COVID-19 emergency:

• An order continuing all oral arguments without date, to be rescheduled sometime after May 1.
• An order encouraging everyone to file everything electronically or by mail and temporarily suspending the surcharge for e-filing. Any in-person filings will be by drop-box.
• An order restricting access to the courthouse. If you think you need to go there in person, read the order first.
