Ashley Morris: An inspiration

I’ve written before about Ashley Morris, an inspiration and a friend to me and to countless others. Besides being a loving husband and father and a good friend, Ashley was a fiery blogger. So large a personality was Ashley that a character played by John Goodman in the HBO show “Treme” is based on him. Many stories about “Treme” have mentioned the connection between Goodman’s character and Ashley. But this story is the first one I know of where the writer interviewed Ashley’s surviving spouse, Hana. I commend the article to anyone who cares about New Orleans. (Hat tip to Greg Peters.)
