Here’s a video of Kermit Ruffins and Jeremy Davenport playing the national anthem before last Saturday’s playoff game between the Saints and the Cardinals. Notice that Kermit and Jeremy were just providing the accompaniment: the crowd provided the vocals. (Hat tip to Al Robert’s Twitter feed.)

That’s not so far-fetched. This year, the Saints went from worst to first in their division. (Actually worst-to-first has been the pattern in the NFC South.) And having spent some time in Steubenville, I have a soft spot in my heart for both the Browns and the Steelers.
