Last week, I promised to post a video of Eddie Bo. Here it is. Eddie died on March 18 of this year. Before that, he had a stellar musical career. This video is from a 2007 appearance at the Louisiana Music Factory. Enjoy.

I live across the street from Eddie for about a year before he died. He owned an old firehouse on Toledano Street about a block off St. Charles with a studio inside (I think he moved there after his old studio burned down). I could hear him jamming over there occassionally.
He always stuck me as a genuinely nice guy, as well as an accomplished musician.
