Robert Belfour
Robert Belfour was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi in 1940, which isn’t so long ago. His music is as close to its African roots as any American music I’ve ever heard — proving that the distance from Mali to Mississippi is one song. In this video, he performs a Junior Kimbrough number, Done Got Old.
