Just a thought

Isn't the phrase "unconditional love" redundant? I think so. Or at least I think that conditional "love" isn't really love.

I don't mean to disparage the phrase "unconditional love." The phrase has value as a pleonasm. But let's understand that "love," by definition, must be unconditional.
