I'm shocked, SHOCKED
The AP reports:
BREAUX BRIDGE, La. -- Singer Willie Nelson and several members of his band were issued misdemeanor citations for drug possession early Monday during a Louisiana traffic stop.
The traffic stop happened on Interstate 10 near Breaux Bridge in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. The Louisiana Highway Patrol said troopers smelled a strong odor of marijuana when the driver opened the door to Nelson's band bus.
Trooper Willie Williams of the Louisiana Highway Patrol said a search of the bus turned up about one-and-a-half pounds of marijuana and about two-tenths of a pound of mushrooms.
According to a story in the Louisville Courier-Journal, the quantity of drugs, if in one person's possession, would have warranted a felony charge of distribution. But none of the five people on Willie's bus owned up to owning the stash, so the La. State Police split the stash five ways and charged each of the five with misdemeanor possession (which, in my opinion, was darned sporting of them).
Willie is 73 years old. Among the other alleged misdemeanants is his 75-year-old sister, Bobbie Nelson.

Hi Raymond,
I thought Willie quit?,
but at any rate, I like your style.
I've been trying to help out a soul singer about his
age, who's been it the pen since 1993.
