Don't trust the non-musical

I like this quotation by William Shakespeare (the Free Dictionary quotation du jour):

The man that hath no music in himself,
Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds,
Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils.
The motions of his spirit are dull as night,
And his affections dark as Erebus.
Let no such man be trusted.

The Merchant of Venice V, i, 83-85. I guess the flip side is this: the average Orleanian is trustworthy.

Unless he's deaf!

Come on, Ryan, you're telling me you wouldn't have trusted Beethoven?
