Diannah left this excellent comment: "I wish somebody would post a list of Google tricks. It seems like there is a good book in it." An excellent idea for a post. Here are a few that I've picked up here and there.
- A.J. Levy's Tips, Tools & Techniques for Finding Valuable Information With Google.
- Google's own Cheat Sheet and Help Center.
- Courtesy of Ernie Svenson, a tip for tracking FedEx shipments with Google.
- Tom Mighell's tips for using Google Maps.
If anyone out there knows a Google trick not included in any of the above, please leave a comment and share it with the rest of us.

I can't remember how to do some of these things, and so I often use soople.com.

Patent Attorneys will like the fact that you can type in a patent number and get a link directly to the entry in the PTO database.
