The archives page you link to contains this sentence: "You will need Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader in order to read the magazines." Plain, perhaps, but still wordy. I'd go with:

"You'll need Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader to read the magazines."

or

"To read the magazines, you'll need Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader."
