Trying out a new design

Presentation matters. With that thought in mind, I’ve redesigned The (New) Legal Writer. Or more accurately, I’ve installed one of TypePad’s prefabricated designs, one called “Minimalist Red.” If you don’t see the new design, you may need to hit the “refresh” or “reload” button on your browser.

Very sharp design. The color of the title bar has the feel of a richly appointed law firm lobby. I'm thinking of playing around with the design of The California Blog of Appeal, but not until I can get a customized header figured out.

Greg, after taking a look at your design (I usually read you on RSS feed), I see that you're a man of impeccable taste and discernment.

The red on both your blogs is very bold. Pretty flashy for a couple of appellate lawyers, wouldn't you say?
