Some good news for the end of the year: the Supreme Court of the United States is moving toward electronic filing, possibly as soon as 2016. They will still require paper copies, though, at least initially. For details, see the SCOTUSblog.
And to all readers out there: thank you for reading. One of my New Year’s resolutions will be to post more frequently here. Like most of you, I practice law for a living, and sometimes my day job leaves little time for extracurriculars. Nevertheless, the end of the year reminds me that I am closer to the end of my legal career than to its beginning. So now is a good time to hand on what I have learned.
